This blog is the journey of my weight loss starting June 18th, 2012. Every day I'll post a diary post, talking about my day and what I ate. Talk about the good and bad. Also discussing what I need to improve on. Just really a entry to how my day went.

Day 338 - 5/21

Meal #1 - Breakfast bagel sandwich and two pancakes

Meal #2 - Turkey burger and a serving of sun chips

Meal #3 - Chicken wrap and a serving of sun chips

Extras - Apple, serving of fruit snacks and a serving of sun chips

Exercise - 35 minutes on the bike. 11.50 miles. 130 sit-ups. 

I had my breakfast on a cheese bagel with two slices of ham, cheese and eggs. In addition I had a few leftover pancakes with syrup. The turkey burger for lunch was leftover and it was on a wheat bread. I had a serving of sun chips to go along with it. The chicken wrap I had for dinner was on a whole wheat tortilla and it contained chicken, cheese and ranch. I had an apple in the morning to help me get through the day. I snacked on a few other things as well to survive me. I’m starting out my new work out regime so I only worked out once. It was quite nice. I did move around a lot at work which was nice. It was a long day but it was fun.

Day 337 - 5/20

Meal #1 - Breakfast sandwich and almond chips with hummus

Meal #2 - Soup and bread

Meal #3 - Turkey burger and brown rice

Extras - Cake, chips and salsa, pistachio nuts and a serving of almonds

Exercise - 35 minutes on the bike. 11.50 miles. 130 sit-ups. 35 minutes on the bike at night. 11.80 miles

The breakfast sandwich was on a white hamburger bun. It had a piece of ham, 2 eggs (minus one egg yolk) and cheese on it. I also had almond chips with hummus. For lunch I had leftover soup from last week. It was very delicious and I had two helpings of it. I had some sourdough to go along with it. The turkey burger at dinner had cheese on it and it was on a white bun. I had some very good brown rice to go along with it. I snacked on a bunch of things today. I worked out twice today and it went really well. It was a relaxing day at work. I didn’t move around much. I think I’m going to cut down my work out load some more. I’m only going to work out twice a day on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. So once a day on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. I need to start cutting back so my body will get used to it. I won’t be able to keep this current regiment for the rest of my life. We will see how my body takes it.

Day 336 - 5/19

Meal #1 - Oat cereal and some beef jerky

Meal #2 - Four pieces of Safeway pepperoni pizza

Meal #3 - Chicken taco and rice with beans

Extras - Beef jerky, popsicle and chips/salsa

Exercise - 35 minutes on the bike. 11.70 miles. 130 sit-ups.

I had a great start to the day with low fat milk. I made sure to get some protein with the beef jerky I ate. The pizza wasn’t very big, as a result I had four slices. I had my chicken taco on a whole wheat tortilla and it was fantastic. I snacked on a few things throughout the day and it was delicious. I worked out once in the morning and it went well. I stayed home all day and just relaxed. It was very fun and nice.

Day 335 - 5/18

Meal #1 - Three banana/peanut butter pancakes, banana and three slices of turkey bacon

Meal #2 - Two meatless whole foods burgers and 2 cookies

Meal #3 - One chicken taco, half a quesadilla, beans and rice

Extras - Bagel, choco taco and a Popsicle

Exercise - 35 minutes on the bike. 11.80 miles. 130 sit-ups.

Weight - 226.6 pounds

The pancakes in the morning were really good. I had three of those, a banana and some turkey bacon. It was a very good start to my day. I then had two meatless whole foods burgers for lunch on gluten free buns. I also had two cookies. My taco at dinner was on a whole wheat tortilla and the quesadilla was whole wheat as well. I had pinto beans and spanish rice on the side and it was very good. I worked out very well on the bike in the morning. I worked in the morning. We were running an event so I was moving around a lot. It was tiring. I weighed in at a little bit more than last week. I know these next 10 pounds will be tough but it is possible. It was a great day of fun hanging out with my girlfriend and working.

Day 334 - 5/17

Meal #2 - Popcorn chicken and fries

Meal #3 - Chicken meatball sandwich and a serving of sun chips

Extras - 2 Servings of fruit snacks, goldfish, slice of pizza and three cookies

Exercise - 35 minutes on the bike. 11.80 miles. 130 sit-ups. 35 minutes on the bike at night. 11.60 miles

I had a delicious cereal for breakfast with low fat milk. I added some almonds so I could get more protein in it. It was quite delightful. I went out for lunch and had fries and popcorn chicken. I didn’t finish the popcorn chicken, it wasn’t very good. The fries were great and had blue cheese and hot sauce on them. I had a meatball sandwich. It was on a white hamburger bun. The meatballs were made of chicken so that was good. I snacked on a few things throughout the day. The slice of pizza had chicken and gorgonzola cheese on it. I worked out well on the bike. I hung out with friends today and then went into work. It was relaxing and I had a lot of fun.

Day 333 - 5/16

Meal #2 - Chipotle chicken bowl and chips with salsa

I had my usual for breakfast. It was on a cheese bagel and had eggs, turkey bacon and cheese on it. I went out for lunch and had a burrito bowl. The bowl had chicken, brown rice, pinto beans, cheese, sour cream and hot salsa in it. It was very good. I also snacked on some chips with hot salsa. For dinner I had a lot of soup. It was this onion/tomato based soup. It had garbanzo beans, sausage, ham, chicken and cheese in it. It was good and full of protein. I snacked on a few things throughout the day. I worked out well today on the bike. I was busy most of the day. I was running around a lot. It was a long work day but it was a nice one.

Day 332 - 5/15

Meal #3 - Turkey burger with tater tots and French fries

Extras - Cookie and a doughnut

I had my usual to start the day again. This time I had turkey bacon on it. The rest was the same as yesterday. The crackers I had were whole wheat. I had a taco for lunch on a whole wheat tortilla and that had chicken, cheese and rice in it. I ate dinner rather late in which I had a turkey burger on a white bun with cheese. I also had some tater tots and fries to go along with it. I had a doughnut in the morning to hold me over and I had one cookie in the afternoon to do the same. I worked out well each time on the bike. It was a very active day at work. I was playing a lot of active, fun games. It was a great day.

Day 331 - 5/14

I had my usual for breakfast on a cheese bagel. It had a bratwurst, eggs and cheese on it. The crackers I had were whole wheat. For lunch, I had a BBQ sandwich from last night on a ciabatta roll. I had some kettle chips to go along with it. The taco I had for dinner was on a whole wheat tortilla. It had chicken, cheese and ranch in the middle. I snacked on some chips throughout the day along with a cookie. I worked out well both times on the bike today. I was very active at work and moved around a lot. I worked a long time but it was a fun day

Day 330 - 5/13

Meal #1 - Breakfast bagel sandwich and watermelon

Meal #2 - Bratwurst and a serving of sun chips

Meal #3 - BBQ chicken sandwich and French fries

Extras - Chips, chips/salsa and two cookies

I had a cheese bagel with eggs, chicken sausage and cheese on it. I also had a bunch of watermelon which was very delicious. I brought a leftover bratwurst from home for lunch and I had it on a white bun. I snacked on some chips throughout the day along with a couple of cookies. I got home and I was hungry so I snacked on some chips with salsa. I had a BBQ chicken sandwich on a ciabatta roll for dinner. I also had some french fries to go along with the sandwich.  I worked out twice today and did a great job both times. I wasn’t too active at work, it was an office day. Regardless of that, it was a very fun and relaxing day.
